My name is Sam. I was raised outside of Chicago and now live in South Bend, Indiana with my dog, Dean. And before you ask, yes, he does oversee the painting process. 

​

I am fascinated by chaos and love exploring that through the medium of acrylic pouring. For me, it was the perfect artistic outlet to help me get through the last few years. Some made sour dough, I played with paint.

​

I begin every piece with an open mind. After I choose the colors and technique, it's all just "let's see what happens."  Few things are as satisfying as watching a painting find itself on the canvas as I hold it in my hands.

I love being able to create something that can be in a friend's home. Makes me feel all cozy.  Some day I'd love to see my art be the inside of some hard cover book. That would just be so cool.
